Meta Data Privacy Policy

This Meta Data Privacy Policy explains how the American Institute of Healthcare Management (“AIHCM”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information obtained through Meta Platforms, Inc. products and tools — including Facebook, Instagram, the Meta Pixel, the Conversions API (CAPI), Meta business tools, lead forms and advertising services. It supplements our general Privacy Policy and applies whenever you interact with AIHCM through a Meta product or through features on our website that use Meta technologies.

Through Meta tools we may collect:

• Interaction and event data — pages viewed, buttons clicked, courses viewed, sign-ups, enrollments and purchases on www.aihcm.us.
• Advertising and measurement data — ad impressions, clicks and conversion events used to measure and improve campaigns.
• Contact details you choose to submit — such as name and email address via a Meta lead form or our website forms.
• Technical data — device and browser type, IP address, and cookie or pixel identifiers.

We do not collect sensitive personal information through Meta tools and we do not sell your personal data.

Our website uses the Meta Pixel and, where enabled, the server-side Conversions API to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to understand how visitors use our site. When events are shared with Meta, direct identifiers (such as email addresses) are hashedbefore transmission in accordance with Meta’s requirements. These tools help us report on conversions, optimize ad delivery and build audiences for future campaigns.

• To measure and analyze the performance of our marketing and advertising.
• To deliver, personalize and optimize ads for accreditation, certification and courses.
• To create and target audiences (including remarketing to prior visitors).
• To respond to inquiries submitted through Meta lead forms.
• To improve our website, content and services.

When you interact with our Meta tools, certain event and (hashed) identifier data is shared with Meta so that it can provide measurement, analytics and advertising services on our behalf. Meta processes this data in accordance with its own Data Policy. We do not control Meta’s independent use of data and encourage you to review its policy.

Where required by law, we process this data on the basis of your consent (for example, cookie/tracking consent) and/or our legitimate interests in promoting and improving our educational services. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 8).

We retain event and marketing data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Data held by Meta is retained according to Meta’s own retention practices.

• Adjust cookie and tracking preferences via the consent banner on our website.
• Manage ad preferences in your Facebook/Instagram account settings (Ad Preferences).
• Use your browser or device controls to limit cookies and tracking.
• Opt out of interest-based advertising through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance.

You may request that we delete personal information we hold about you that was collected through Meta tools. To do so, email contact@aihcm.us with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”, including the email address or identifier associated with your interactions. We will verify and process your request within 30 days. You can also remove AIHCM’s access from within your Facebook settings under Settings → Apps and Websites.

Our services are intended for professionals and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children through Meta tools.

Data processed through Meta may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where applicable, such transfers are carried out with appropriate safeguards.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
